Deve-se iniciar a TARV em todos os indivíduos com HIV, independentemente do estágio clínico da OMS ou contagem de células CD4, com prioridade para os seguintes grupos: Indivíduos com coinfecção pelo HIV e vírus da hepatite B (HBV) com indícios de hepatopatia crônica grave
