Remarks
- ASPY should be avoided by individuals with known liver disease (clinically apparent liver disease) because ASPY isassociated with liver transaminitis.
- Pharmacovigilance should be strengthened where ASPY is used for the treatment of malaria.
Practical info As with the deployment of any new malaria treatment, pharmacovigilance and resistance surveillance systems should be strengthened.
