Notes and Remarks

Practical info The GDG made a strong recommendation against using convalescent plasma for the treatment of patients with non-severe COVID-19 and a recommendation against using convalescent plasma in those with severe or critical COVID-19 outside the context of a clinical trial. Given this, we will not go into detail regarding the many practical issues related to convalescent plasma including but not limited to: identification and recruitment of potential donors, collection of plasma, storage and distribution of plasma, and infusion of convalescent plasma into recipients.
