First-line ART for adolescents should consist of two nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) plus an non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI) or an INSTI: TDF + lamivudine (3TC) + dolutegravir (DTG) or tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (TDF) + lamivudine (3TC) or emtricitabine (FTC) + efavirenz (EFV) 4002 may be used as alternative options to initiate ART
